DB2020 Unlocking by KulanKendi Server
I am told this works but pls test as i dont have a handset with me to test
Sony-ericson DB2020 unlock by KulanKendi Server. Log's needed! Before Unlock phone please check battery to be at least 50% charged !!!! DB2020 CID49,51 Unlocking procedure: 1. Run KKClient ver. 1.54, it will create new directory "SFL_Files" 2. Download SFL Files from: http://gsminfo.home.pl/_ftp/guar/Data/SFL_Files.zip and decompress it to "SFL_Files" 3. Files must be in "SFL_Files" directory like: "X:\path_to_KKClient\SFL_Files\*.sfl" where "X:" is partition drive. 4. Now KKClient is ready to work.Before unlock any phone we strongly suggest to check if unlocking for desired phone firmware is supported. Simple use USB cable and click READ INFO and KKClient will show information if firmware is supported or not(it works only with USB cable for now). 5. When sw say that phone is supported, then change cable type to RS232 in SETTINGS menu. Click SETTINGS and after DETECT Button, wait some seconds to finish and select COM port on what is cable/box and set speed, we suggest 921600, select option "use RS232 communication" and click ACCEPT. 6. If You try it first time then check if communication with phone works correctly by RS232, click READ INFO and connect phone. If cable is without autoignition then push power on button is needed for short time. 7. If all works correctly then please select "Simlock CID49,51" option ONLY and click FLASH PHONE button. 8. Please wait till program will finish - about 46-50 sec. What to do when errors will appear?: This unlocking method need some tricks what will looks like make phone "dead", do not worry if any error will appear then please disconnect phone remove battery and put back and please check if phone power on. If phone will be dead then please flash oNLY MAIN file (with same sw version as was before) and phone will be alive. When phone is not supported but I try to unlock it?: In this situation phone will be like "dead" coz recovery file are missing. So phone need to be flashed with ONLY MAIN file and all will be ok, anyway credit will be lost - so please ALWAYS check unknown version for support before unlocking thanks to ShawGsm Last edited by alexis; 07-11-2007 at 02:21 PM..
